Bear’s Big Book Fair is inspired by Bear Stays Up For Christmas which is the Christmas story from one of our favorite literary series, Bear Snores On, written by Karma Wilson and illustrated by Jane Chapman. Bear’s Big Book Fair will be full of community, fun, and lots of Christmas cheer with Bear and his forest friends!
We are very excited for the opportunity to once again gather for Book Shopping,
Cocoa in the Courtyard, Grandparents & Special Friend’s Night, Bear’s Big Family Breakfast,
Alumni Afternoon Chapel and Shopping, Storybook Theater with Ms. Brandt,
Storytime with Mrs. Claus, Photos with Santa, Silhouettes with Cindi Rose,
and new this year, a Live Painting event with Katie Weymouth Gonzalez.
The fundraising arm of the Book Fair provides scholarships for current students, supports literacy initiatives throughout the school, and professional learning for our SLDS teachers.
